Mortgage Sales Consultant- Mortgage originating is an exciting and rewarding career that will provide you with the opportunity to earn above average compensation, the flexibility to work your own schedule and the ability manage your own business while working in a team environment.

You don’t have experience in mortgage lending? Most successful mortgage sales consultants come from other career paths in sales, marketing or financial services. Core One Mortgage has a comprehensive training program to teach you everything from “mortgage 101” which includes regulatory training, product training, systems training all the way through how to selling skills programs.

Our President, Steve Smith, has over 22 years of experience in Corporate Sales and Marketing Experience, including 12 years as a Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Fisher Scientific where managed a $500 million division with a sales force of over 180 sales reps. His background in sales training, leadership development and in building high impact teams will help you become a top producer.

Our information network provides you the ability to remotely access our systems, whether from a home office, a realtor’s office, restaurant or your client’s home. We ask our mortgage sales consultants to provide their own laptop so that they can work “virtually”.

Our award winning websites provide clients with information at their fingertips about the lending process as well as local resource information about the Charleston, Daniel Island and tri-county area. Clients can complete a short or long loan application (1003) right online which you will be able to import directly into our loan origination system, or print it at their home or your choice of meeting place for them to review and sign.

Our data warehouse provides you with access to a wide range of marketing tools, from “tried and true” customizable letters and postcard templates, to customizable brochures and flyers- all to help you build your identity in the market place and to generate leads.

And, our systems provide you direct access to many of our wholesale lenders so that you can run pricing scenarios, research product guidelines or get borrower approvals online and ontime!

Compensation

Top mortgage sales consultants make a lot of money; SIX FIGURE INCOMES are generally the rule and not the exception. As with real estate, insurance and other commission based sales positions your earnings will be commensurate with your efforts. We believe our compensation package to be one of the best in area and in the country, and one that reward top producers for their results- the more loans you sell the more you make.
